«Tylose» for dry construction mixtures

Cellulosic ether is used in its Methyl Cellulose form, in construction chemicals. Ether compositions that Clariant produces for these applications are in the form of Methyl Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose (MHEC) and Methylhydroxypropyl Cellulose (MHPC). These materials improves water retention, consistencies, adhesion elasticities of mineral binders (gypsum-lime-cement), dispersion binder based liquids, adhesives, repair mortars, and special concretes.
Water is necessary for mortar processing and clamping all parts of mortar together. In progressive dried construction mixtures aqua balance has an optimal regulation by Tylose addition.
Due Tylose applications tile glue is gaining excellent characteristics in processing, tile doesn’t ooze out and it is extending open time (the time for tile laying). Tylose addition in plaster is getting opportunities to plaster coating large surfaces rationally and careful.
There is optimal Tylose type for many varieties of dried construction mixtures. Additional Hostapur OSB (It is used as air entraining agent in cement and gypsum industry. It greatly facilitates the pumping operation in applications where pumps are used), Tylovis SE 7 (It is used together with Tylose MH types in cementituous tile adhesives and gypsums. It increases viscosity and slip properties and thus increases “open-time”) and Genapol PF 80 (It is a wetting agent in powder form. They enhance mechanical strength , elasticity, resistance to atmospheric conditions, UV rays, and alkalines of the paint and ready-plasters.
